Mission Trips

High school sophomores, juniors, and seniors have the opportunity to spend Easter break in another country on a mission trip.

Mission Trip 1

Students have the opportunity of raising money for these mission trips by working at Northern Illinois University concessions for football games, being a part of Friday pizza lunch fundraisers for the whole school, and sending out prayer and support letters.

Past trips have included Spain, Costa Rica, Panama, and the Dominican Republic.

The purpose of these trips is for students to serve others while also learning and practicing Spanish through building relationships with citizens from the countries that we visit. Students and staff gain exposure to different ways of life and culture and, through international travel, learn to trust in the Lord for the unknown.

Mission Trip 2

The work on past mission trips has included labor, Vacation Bible School teaching, putting on dramas to share about Christ, performing music, and aiding churches with their needs.

The group size that travels on our mission trips is small, about 10-15 students along with a CCA staff member.
