About

At Cornerstone Christian Academy, it is our vision to raise up effective leaders of godly character who will blend academic achievement and biblical truth to influence society for the glory of God. We understand that the parents are the child’s first teachers, and we strive to build strong family partnerships in which we can work together raising children to become all that God has made them to be. We realize that God has uniquely crafted and gifted each child and do not take lightly the opportunity to influence students for the kingdom of Christ.

We are committed to small class sizes that allow students individualized attention and care. Small classes afford students the opportunity to build strong connections with peers and lasting bonds with teachers. Students and families are known on a first name basis and quickly and easily become infused into the community of CCA.

Students participate in a strong and comprehensive curriculum. Biblical truth is woven and integrated into all aspects of our academic program including reading, writing, mathematics, science, social studies, history, and more. We have carefully evaluated the classical model of education to help design our curriculum. Excellence is stressed as a daily discipline and is typically reflected in high scores on standardized achievement tests. Students are encouraged to develop strong study habits that will extend beyond the classroom.

Curricular opportunities such as art, music, physical education, heath and wellness, library, computer lab, and Spanish are a part of each child’s comprehensive Cornerstone education. Extra curricular activities such as basketball, volleyball, soccer, and cheerleading are just a glimpse of the opportunities available to CCA elementary students.

Developing the godly character qualities, nurturing spiritual growth and cultivation of spiritual disciplines in students are the heartbeat of CCA’s faculty and staff. In order to specifically strengthen biblical understanding and spiritual growth students participate in daily Bible classes. Students participate in morning assemblies and devotions to further instill godly living into the hearts of our students. Weekly chapel times include an extended time of worship. Local pastors bring relevant, age appropriate messages to the students at this time.

We invite you to be a part of CCA’s elementary program for students in kindergarten through sixth grade. The habits, friendships, and perspectives students develop at this level form the foundation for continued success in the secondary program and beyond.
