Preschool Teachers
A Memo from the Director
Welcome to our preschool website! My name is Debbie Dwyer and I am the preschool director. I have been working at CCA for 15 years. When I started we had just two preschool classes. Through God’s grace we have now grown to five classes. I love the program we offer; our academics prepare the children for school. Bible and prayer are incorporated into every aspect of our day. We have found that consistency and structure helps the children to be successful along with a loving and nurturing environment. I have been blessed over the years to get to know so many wonderful children and their families.
I care deeply for the preschool staff. We have bonded over the years and have become a family. We spend time each morning in devotions – learning God’s word and praying, not only for the children of our school, but for each others families.
About our staff:
Each teacher has exceeded their educational requirements set by CCA. They keep current with their Continuing Education classes by attending teacher conferences in the fall and 4-C workshops throughout the year. The entire staff is CPR and First Aid certified. All staff has been fingerprinted and background checks have been done. We are blessed to have a dedicated staff. Our retention is excellent and our seasoned teacher is in her 14th year and our newest hired teacher is beginning her 9th year. We are members of Community Coordinated Child Care (4-C) and Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI).

“Childhood is the most formative, and therefore, the most strategic stage of life. To shape an adult – reach a child. Children need our attention more urgently than any other group of people, for childhood is quickly over. They are our future.”
