Junior High and High School

Academic Expectations

Academic expectations are high for all students at Cornerstone. We desire to see our students have goals to aim for, and our teachers strive to see students achieve heights they thought were beyond their reach.

The core academic courses include math, science, history, language arts (grammar, writing, and literature), and Bible. We also have cocurricular courses ranging through fine arts, online, and dual-credit courses available for our high school students. Students that desire to take these types of cocurricular courses must receive approval. Cornerstone also offers the opportunity to participate in a select number of AP courses that are taught in the classroom. Testing for AP courses taught at CCA takes place in the spring.

High honor roll and honor roll based on classroom effort and competency is maintained for all grade levels.

RenWeb, CCA’s student information system, is available for parents to view their student’s grades and homework assignments at any time. Progress reports can also be viewed to help parents track their child’s progress and maintain high academic expectations.
