Junior High and High School

About our Junior High

It is our desire to prepare your child to make an impact for Jesus Christ on their families, community, and ultimately the world. Smaller class sizes, coupled with our committed teaching staff and administration, contribute to the success of our student body. Each student’s individual progress, concerns, and accomplishments are monitored on a regular basis. CCA has proven to be a positive influence for students during this important time in their lives.

The core subjects taught are general mathematics for seventh and eighth grade (plus the opportunity to study pre-algebra, algebra, and geometry), literature, grammar, Bible, American history, and science. Our junior high students will also study Spanish and improve their technology skills. They participate in an overnight trip to spend time involved with outdoor education, environmental science and conservation, plus the experience to improve their identity through a variety of team exercises. There is also the opportunity for students to attend a leadership conference in order to improve their leadership skills. We desire for this learning experience to be built on God’s Word, which includes what students learn in their Bible class and other classes particularly aimed at the junior high level. This course of study helps to build confidence in your junior higher to live boldly for Christ while they engage others with the truth clearly expressed.
